OTTO Lunch Specials

Lunch for under $10?!

Yes, please.

Every Monday through Friday,  we run two lunch specials that are perfect for your on-the-go lunch break or sitting down in one of our dining rooms to catch up with a friend.

There’s two options, depending on your hunger level –

OPTION #1: 1 slice + fountain soda or house made drink + an OTTO cookie for $5.95

OR

OPTION #2: 2 slices + fountain soda or house made drink for $7.95

While our slice options at each of our shops vary from day-to-day, our house made drinks include lemonade, iced tea, and Arnold Palmer and we have our OTTO-made chocolate chip cookies available to round out your lunchtime!

2017: The Year in Giving Back

Since we opened our first slice shop on Congress Street in Portland back in 2009, giving back has been integral to what we do. From day one, we have committed ourselves to bettering the communities in which we do business, and this commitment continues to grow each year.

10414491_806020339409898_4134071848483003687_nIt is not lost on us that without having been embraced and supported by our communities over the past eight years, we would not have been able to make community outreach an integral part of our company culture.

Our weekly fundraiser series now runs in 10 locations in two states. In addition to fundraisers, we also provide in-kind donations to many deserving charities and community organizations throughout the year.

OTTO has been fortunate enough to have donated to over 350 organizations in Maine, Massachusetts, and beyond in 2017. We are extremely grateful to be in a position to do so. As we close the year, we are thankful for the many outstanding organizations that worked tirelessly to better our communities in so many ways.

We’d like to acknowledge some of the organizations that we have had the pleasure of working with in some capacity in 2017. The following is a partial list of these organizations.

Thank you for all you do!

ACS_LOGO_PNGWe are also grateful for the support of Artist & Craftsman Supply for their donation of gift cards to both the winner and the winner’s school. They are also generously offering a 20% discount on all art supplies purchased for the contest! You can click here to find out which A&C store is closest to you.

The contest is open to all students in New England.

It’s pretty simple:

1. Draw a design on a 16×16 square surface that includes the words ‘OTTO’ and ‘Portland, Maine’ (see rules for color requirements)
2. Take a clear digital picture of the design.
3. Email it to OTTO at contactus@ottoportland.com!

We are currently accepting entries, and will continue to accept them through Dec. 18 at 9am. However, the sooner your design is entered, the more time it has to collect ‘votes’ on Facebook!

Good luck!

‘Your Pie-To-Try’ Kids’ Cooking Class in Lynnfield

On June 25th, we held our first ever “Your Pie-To-Try” Kids’ Cooking Class at our Lynnfield location! If you’re looking for a fun summer activity for the kids, then consider signing them up for one of our next two Sunday classes on July 2nd and July 9th! Please email David at davida@ottoportland.com or register in-store to sign-up for one of our next pizza-making classes. OTTO + Maine Brew Bus Team Up for Pizza Delivery and Beer Education

On one of the recent (and rare) blue-sky days this spring, we teamed up with The Maine Brew Bus to deliver pizza to the hard-working employees of seven local breweries and to educate our awesome employees on the Maine beer that we serve. We had a super fun day serving up some pizza love and getting our beer education on!

Our first stop was in Freeport to check out Maine Beer Company before heading back south to Portland’s East End neighborhood to hit up Oxbow. We hopped a quick ride on the bus down to East Bayside to partake in the beers of Rising Tide and Lone Pine, then finding our way over to Bissell Brothers at Thompson’s Point, before ending the day in Riverside at Allagash and Foundation.

Check out the day’s happenings in our short video…
